Can my address be updated?
Because there are multiple property datasources each can have a slightly different address for the same property.

You should first check the following data sources, to see where the information has come from.
Council data:

-
You'll need to contact your local council or search their website to see if you can find out how they have entered your property address into their database.
-
We import information from the ratings database also known as the district valuation roll (DVR)
-
As the majority of councils around New Zealand outsource the administration of their DVR you'll need to find out from the council who looks after their DVR data, then you will need to check with them to confirm the address they have for your property.
-
It is important to note that the councils website can have a different property address to the DVR, so you need to make sure the DVR has the correct address.
-
The best way to do this is to ask the council 'Who is your valuation service provider' and what is their contact email address.
-

Once you have confirmation the information has been updated in the DVR, keep an eye on our website as it usually takes 3 - 4 weeks for the information to display on our site.
The NZ Post address:

The information displaying on a mailbox is not always the same information that is held in the ratings database, this could be why the address looks different on our website.
