How do I register for a Homeowner account

This article guides users through the process of creating a new account on Homes.co.nz.

To claim your home, you will first need to be a registered user with Homes.co.nz.

Step 1: To register for Homes.co.nz, click on the 'Log in/Register' button in the top right-hand corner of the website.

​Step 2: SELECT 'Create an account' in the pop-up box.

Step 3: You'll then need to enter your email address, name, and password, and select 'Sign up'. Our passwords require a minimum of 8 characters, including an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, a numeral, and a symbol.

Step 4: You will then receive a confirmation email with a code that needs to be entered into the sign-up box. Once you have confirmed your account with the code, you will not need to do this again.

If you accidentally close the pop-up box without confirming your account, you'll need to use the 'Forgot your password' link in the sign-in box to get a new confirmation code.

Once registered and logged in, you can claim your home!
