Tracking my home

This article explains how to track your property to access features updates and start receiving information changes for their properties profile.

Step 1: Simply locate the property by searching for the address.

Step 2: SELECT the property card (photo) to view your property's full profile page.

Step 3: Then SELECT the 'I own this home' option. A disclaimer will appear to verify that you are the legal owner of the property. SELECT 'Yes, I own this home' and then SELECT 'Close' to close the pop-up box.

Congratulations! You're now tracking your property!

Once you have tracked your home, you can:

• Start receiving updates on your property;

• Remove any old images displayed on your property's profile page;

• Update your property's features;

• Upload a registered valuation report to your property's estimate calculations.

Note: If you no longer need to track your home, Just log into homes.co.nz using the same email address you claimed the home with, go to the property's full details page and select the option ' Stop tracking this home'.

Someone is claiming my property and now?

If someone else has already tracked your property, please check with the other people who own the property to make sure they have not already claimed the property.  

If the property is claimed by someone who is not the current owner, please use our chatbot to request that the property be freed up for the current homeowner.  We will be able to get this actioned for you within the following 2 - 3 working days, so you may want to check the site again in a few days.
